The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award, will host a one night engagement of the Off-Broadway hit, Celebrity Autobiography. This live comedy show of readings-by and about celebrities-will play in the Company's Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 8 p.m.

Celebrity Autobiography, the international smash hit comedy where outrageous and true celebrity memoirs are acted out live on stage by some of the funniest people in entertainment, is an evening of jaw-dropping, hard-to-believe vignettes excerpted straight from actual celebrity tell-alls: from Bieber to Beyoncé to Hasselhoff and beyond. Audiences leave the show asking "Did these celebrities really write that?" The cast of the June 10 performance includes Mario Cantone (Sex and the City), Rachel Dratch(Saturday Night Live), Carla Hall (Top Chef), Lainie Kazan (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Eugene Pack,Dayle Reyfel and Steve Schirripa (The Sopranos).

Celebrity Autobiography is one of the most critically acclaimed, "buzzed about shows" of recent years, as hailed by Entertainment Weekly. Playing to sell-out audiences and rave reviews in New York City since fall 2008, the show was created by Emmy-nominated writer-performer Eugene Pack, and developed by Pack and Dayle Reyfel. Celebrity Autobiography has also played in Los Angeles and in many cities across the U.S. as well as in London and Australia, where it recently concluded a successful run at the Sydney Opera House. The show has been featured by many major media outlets, including ABC's The View and Nightline, NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly, NPR's Morning Edition, CBS's Sunday Morning, CNN's American Morning and Bravo's A-List Awards as well as Time Magazine and the Wall Street Journal.

Previous performances of Celebrity Autobiography have included signature mash-ups that combine the "Mom"oirs of famous moms such as Ivana Trump, Kathie Lee Gifford and Kris Jenner; a music memoir segment combining the words of Justin Bieber, Beyoncé and beyond; the 'he-said, she-said' accounts of Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson; a Sports Match Up with Arnold, Tiger and Namath; Cher, Barbara Streisand, Dolly Parton and Celine Dion all expressing their passion for food; LL Cool J, Miley Cyrus and Ricky Martin addressing who they "really are;" to a hilarious ensemble "playlet" edited together from the memoirs of the most famous love triangle in Hollywood history-Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher.

Tickets: $50-$65. To purchase tickets or to learn more, patrons can call the box office at 202.547.1122 or visit ShakespeareTheatre.org.
