Annapolis Shakespeare Company is pleased to have Matthew Pauli star for the next two weeks (Tuesday, August 18th and Tuesday, August 25th at 7:30 p.m.) as Truffaldino in The Servant of Two Masters in the Outdoor Courtyard at Reynolds Tavern in Downtown Annapolis.

Matthew Pauli is an actor, clown, and puppeteer. In the DC area, he has performed with Faction of Fools, Constellation Theatre, Flying V, and The Shakespeare Theatre in DC, and Everyman Theatre in Baltimore, among others. He is also one of the founders of Clown Cabaret, a performance laboratory for developing clown work. He toured for six seasons with Big Apple Circus and is a proud member of the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit, performing clown rounds at Johns Hopkins Hospital and National Children's Medical Center. He is a graduate of Georgetown University, as well as the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Clown College, and has an MFA from the Shakespeare Theatre Academy for Classical Acting at the George Washington University.

Goldini's The Servant of Two Masters adapted by Tim Mooney runs through Tuesday, September 29th. Tickets are $20-25 and available at the door or online atAnnapolisShakespeare.org 18th-century farce follows Truffaldino, a minion who tries to double his earnings by working for two bosses. Things don't go as planned, of course. Mistaken identities and missed connections lead to all manner of tomfoolery.
