Seacoast Repertory Theatre Holds Open Auditions for Lend Me a Tenor 8/31
Seacoast Repertory Theatre (the Rep) is holding open auditions for our upcoming production of Lend Me a Tenor. This madcap, screwball comedy is guaranteed to leave you teary-eyed with laughter. Mishaps and mistaken identities abound in this furiously paced comedic farce when the great Italian tenor (ll Stupendo to his fans) is scheduled to play Othello for one night only.
A sensation on Broadway and in London's West End. Directed by Blair Hundertmark, this production will be performed on the Rep stage October 23 - November 15, 2009 with rehearsals beginning in late September.
Guest Artist and Non-equity auditions will be held on Monday, August 31, 2009 from 4:00pm - 7:30pm; Callbacks: 7:30pm - 10:00pm at the Rep, 125 Bow Street, Portsmouth NH. Please prepare a comedic monologue under 2 minutes and a 30 second a capella aria if you will be auditioning for Max or Tito recent headshot and resume.
