Music mogel L.A. Reid shared his thoughts on Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show performance, joined by singer Jennifer Hudson who discussed her emotional performance of 'America the Beautiful' before the game, accompanied by twenty-six children from the Sandy Hook Elementary School. (check out the performance here!)

"It was emotional, just being there," shared the Oscar winning performer. "Seeing the kids, and it being very close to home for myself as well. It was overwhelming." Check out the appearance below!

The choir performed in memory of the 26 students and faculty who were tragically gunned down on December 14th in what has become the second deadliest school shooting in American history.

Hudson skyrocketed to stardom with her film debut in Dreamgirls, which earned her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Hudson's self-titled debut album won the Grammy for Best R&B Album in 2008. She released her sophomore album, I Remember Me, in early 2012. Hudson can next be seen on the upcoming second season of NBC's SMASH.
