The Laurie Beechman Theatre is pleased to announce plans for a second installment of SAY Something: A Spoken Word Salon. The event will feature spoken word performances from writers and actors, presenting their own work as well as excerpts from some of their favorite texts. SAY Something will take place on Sunday, October 12th @ 6pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located at 407 West 42nd St., (@ 9th Ave), in the heart of New York's theatre district. There is a $10 cover, as well as a $15 food or beverage minimum (full bar and dinner menus are available). For reservations, which are advised, please call 212 695 6909.

SAY Something debuted at the Beechman in August with a SRO evening featuring the cast of Title of Show, Christine Lavin, Donna Lynne Champlin, Kate Shindle and many others. This next installment will feature a diverse spectrum of performers from the worlds of theatre, broadcasting, film and novels.

The cast includes Emmy winner Marni Nixon (the singing voice of Deborah Kerr, Natalie Wood and Audrey Hepburn in the motion pictures and on the soundtracks of The King and I, An Affair to Remember, West Side Story and My Fair Lady), Sonny Fox (host of television's long-running Wonderama), celebrated novelist, activist and playwright Sarah Schulman (Rat Bohemia, Carson McCullers, Stagestruck), Seth Rudetsky (Broadway's The Ritz, Seth's Broadway Chatterbox), Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway, Talk Radio), Phil Geoffrey Bond (MAC, Bistro & Nightlife Award winner), Carl Kissin (Chicago City Limits) and James Wesley (gaydadsusa.com).

Be sure to be there on the 12th as this amazing collection of artists gathers in celebration of new work as well as excerpts from some of their favorite texts. It promises to be a warm and witty evening.
