Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway will mark its 25th Anniversary with a brand-new edition Forbidden Broadway: Rude Awakening, at the 47 th Street Theatre (304 West 47 Street). Previews begin August 31st. Opening is Sunday, September 23 rd.   

Forbidden Broadway: Rude Awakening will feature spoofs of the season including Spring Awakening, Curtains, A Chorus LineGrease: You're The One That We Want,  Legally Blonde, Frost/Nixon and Mary Poppins, in addidtion to Company and Grey Gardens .

Performances are Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:15pm and Sundays at 7:30pm, with matinees on Wednesdays at 2:30pm, Saturdays at 4:00pm, and Sundays at 3:30pm.   Tickets are $60 - $65. Visit www.Telecharge.com or call (212) 239-6200.
