Stars in the Alley to Take Place 6/6 in Shubert Alley

According to the website of the League of American Theatres and Producers, the 2007 edition of "Stars in the Alley" will take place in Shubert Alley on June 6th at 11 AM.

"Presented by Continental Airlines with Visa, 'Stars in the Alley' brings together stars from current Broadway productions to celebrate the end of the season," state press notes on the website.  "'Stars in the Alley' features performances and special appearances by cast members from Broadway's most popular musicals and plays.  In additon, the annual Star award recognizes an individual in public or governmental service who has demonstrated significant support for Broadway."

"As part of 'Stars in the Alley 2007,' fans will have the chance to vote online for their favorite play and musical."  The New York Times is the official sponsor of this year's "Stars in the Alley."
