This summer has been a wildly creative time for the 84 kids taking classes at Town Hall Theater. THT'S stage has been filled with rock concerts, dance recitals and Broadway musicals, all performed by energetic, talented kids from the Middlebury area.

The THT Young Company's final performance of the summer is A Midsummer Night's Dream, which will be presented on August 19 & 20. Under the direction of Lindsey Pontius and Kendra Gratton, over 20 actors from ages 12-28 will inhabit a magical forest full of mischief and mayhem at every turn.

Shakespeare's popular comedy is a three ring circus when the world of fairies, lovers and homespun hams collide. Love triangles tangle with magical beings, and men find themselves transformed into donkeys

The cast includes Hannah Roque, Emma Pope McCright, Anders Bright, Conor Harris, Ethan Markwica, Zachary Lounsbury, Katie Isham, Devyn Pratt, Tristan Woods, Tyler Woods, Addison Wales, Oliver Craig-Lewis, Taylor Moulton, Sophie Lefkoe, Sophie Pope-McCright, Maisie Newberry, Megan Thomas, Lily Isham, Theo Wells-Spackman, and Jack Lyons.

The young performers are joined by adult actors Gianna Kiehl, Jessica Krol, Jack DesBois and Zachary Lounsbury. DesBois and Lounsbury have been Middlebury College summer interns at THT, involved with everything from writing press releases, working in the box office, and serving as role models for young actors by acting in Young Company performances.

A Midsummer Night's Dream will be presented on Wednesday and Thursday, August 19 & 20, at 7 pm. Tickets are $10/$5 for kids 12 and under, and may be purchased at www.townhalltheater.org, 802 382-9222, at the THT Box Office (Mon-Sat, noon-5 pm) or at the door.
