The Dorset Theatre Festival and Perfect Wife have combined forces to present the up and coming singer/songwriter Caroline Rose on April 25th at The Perfect Wife Restaurant in Manchester in an event that will raise funds for the DTF Giving Back Programs. Each year, the Dorset Theatre Festival underwrites free tickets to the following community groups: Firefighters, Police, EMS Workers, Local Farmers, Military and their families, the Refuse to Use graduates, Special Needs Community and, new this year. Habitat For Humanity volunteers.

"We are very proud of this program and so happy that Amy Chamberlain and the folks at the Perfect Wife are once again collaborating with us on these events. We do them because we believe that a theatre should give back to the community it serves and strive for diversity and inclusion in every way possible, just like Joe Papp did at the Public Theatre in NY," says DTF Artistic Director Dina Janis.

Caroline Rose is an up and coming singer/songwriter whose latest album American Religious has hit the charts and has received great critical acclaim. This concert marks a continuation for DTF of its vision to become an Art Place, with their expanded summer Gallery Café and music concerts, and follows up on the success of their recent Woods Brothers and The Last Waltz Live! concerts of the past two seasons. "This year, our Gallery Café will be open each night, serving a local-vore tapas menu, wine and beer and will feature musicians, poetry slams, and art shows by local up and coming artists in the region. We believe these expanded programs will allow DTF to become a hub for the arts in our region," says Dina Janis.

Reservations for dinner ahead of the concert can be made my contacting the Perfect Wife at 802-362-2817. Doors open at 9 pm and there is a $15 cover charge. For further information and to find out about other DTF Summer events go to www.dorsettheatrefestival.org.
