After two years of performing at the Town Hall Theater, BandAnna is returning once again for a night of dancing and local music.

BandAnna takes the THT stage on Saturday, August 31, performing a variety of music perfect for dancing.

Jim Lineau and his daughter Anna, for whom the band is named, have spent the last two years working with local artists Ron Rost, Jim Keating, Glenn Goodwin, Jacob Highter and Ray Paczkowski. In that time the group has performed everything from R & B, Blues, and Rock to Jazz, Swing, and California surfer music, and built up a fervent local fan base along the way.

BandAnna has had great success since they began. "In one week, three different people came into my office anddemanded that we book BandAnna," recalls THT executive director Doug Anderson, discussing the first year BandAnna performed at the Town Hall Theater. "Every time they play here it's a great time. They are such a skilled group of musicians, and Anna is a phenomenal singer."

Around Anna Lineau's talented lead singing, her father Jim is on rhythm guitar, Ron Rost and Ray Paczkowski play keyboard, Jim Keating plays lead guitar, with Glenn Goodwin on the bass and Jacob Highter on Drums.

While BandAnna is on the Town Hall Theater stage the main hall seating will be cleared to make a big dance floor. The balcony seating will be open as well for those who want to come and just enjoy this band's music, but for everyone there will be plenty of room to dance to a band committed to fun and getting the crowd on its feet.

The concert is on Saturday, August 31st at 8pm. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at 802 382-9222, www.townhalltheater.org, at the THT Box Office (Mon-Sat, Noon-5pm) or at the door.
