The Anvil Centre Theatre is presenting Montreal based Rémi Bolduc Jazz Ensemble performing their new production, Tribute to Dave Brubeck, for one night only on Thursday, Jan. 14th at 8pm at the Anvil Centre Theatre, 777 Columbia Street, New Westminster. Tickets range from $25 - $50 plus service charges, available at ticketsnw.ca. The concert will offer cabaret style seating with table service as well as theatre seating.

The Rémi Bolduc Jazz Ensemble with special guest pianist François Bourassa is proud to perform the music of Dave Brubeck's celebrated band. In 1950-60, very few American jazz artists have had as much influence and were as popular as Dave Brubeck. Playing some of the hit compositions "Take Five," "Blue Rondo a la Turk" and several other songs from the album Time Out are included in the program - one of the most famous and best-selling albums in the history of jazz.

Rémi Bolduc, considered one of Canada's best jazz saxophonists, offers a formidable package of music that is intense and under control, breathtaking precision, magnetic stage presence with refreshing original compositions. Acclaimed worldwide, Bolduc captivates the audience with the dazzling virtuosity and stunning maturity that have made him a most accomplished musician. He performs regularly with some of the most renowned jazz musicians such as Kenny Werner, Ben Monder, Seamus Blake, Lorraine Desmarais, Vic Vogel, and others. It is a rare treat to hear the band in person which will be amplified by the incredible acoustic quality and ambiance of this new hi tech venue.
