Vancouver's must-see attraction, FlyOver Canada, will transform into a magical winter wonderland this Christmas season, from November 27, 2015 to January 5, 2016 at Canada Place. Guests will have fun helping Santa Claus search for his missing elves during the exhilarating flight across Canada, and on to the North Pole. Riders may even be able to catch a whiff of Mrs. Claus' baking as they swoop over her Gingerbread factory!

"Our entire team puts huge effort into the transformation of FlyOver Canada, turning our space into a winter wonderland," says Lisa Adams, Director, Operations and Sales of Soaring Attractions LP. "Not only will the entire family enjoy a magical, seasonal experience, complete with twinkling lights and Christmas music, guests will also enjoy a flight to the North Pole and over Santa's workshop! With our Christmas edition we feel we've captured the city's Christmas spirit, creating one of Vancouver's not-to-be-missed holiday events."

The FlyOver Canada attraction is a flight simulation ride that takes guests on a breathtaking aerial tour over some of Canada's spectacular landscapes using the latest in ride flight technology. Guests sit suspended 10 to 25 feet above the ground in specialized ride vehicles, with their legs dangling, as they move in concert with the film. With the addition of special effects (scent, mist, wind), riders actually feel like they are flying!

As part of Christmas at FlyOver Canada, riders will be treated to the following limited-time-only features:

- Santa Claus, himself, will be on site to greet guests and hear their Christmas wish list, December 12, 13, 19, and 21 - 24.

- Live musical performances by community, school, and group choirs will take place between 12 and 3pm throughout the month of December.

- Delicious, holiday snacks and refreshments will be on sale, including Swiss-style nuts, Slavic Rolls, cotton candy, caramel apples, hot chocolate, and more!

A fun and festive seasonal adventure, Christmas at FlyOver Canada is the perfect way to ring in the holiday season with the entire family. Children must be at least 102cm (40") to participate on the ride. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian aged 14 years or older.

In celebration of Christmas at FlyOver Canada - and in partnership with Air North, Yukon's Airline - the public is invited to enter to win an experience of a lifetime for four to Whitehorse, Yukon. The city is home to some of the most breathtaking sights in Canada, and is the ultimate place to view one of the most sought after Northern experiences, the aurora borealis.
