From today, June 3 - 29, Waterloo East Theatre presents the world premiere of a new play, An Interview With Gaddafi, by Reggie Adams, political journalist and author of the book Now Utopia.

An Interview With Gaddafi is a look under the bonnet of the inner working of the mainstream media in matters of geo-politics. The story follows the very personalised journey of the fictitious veteran journalist Bellamy Johan as he uncovers certain truths that lie behind the 2011 Libyan regime change.

This journey is a heartfelt and bumpy road of tears, laughter and moments of terror but it will leave you questioning everything you thought you trusted about the mainstream media narrative, about democracy, capitalism, global finance and political spin.

Performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 4:00pm. There are no Monday performances. An Interview With Gaddafi has a running time of approximately 120 minutes with an interval.

Tickets are £15 / £13 Concession. Concessions are available for students, unwaged, over 60s, Equity members, those with disabilities, and Lambeth residents. On June 3 and 4, all tickets are £10. There are no booking fees, and all seating is unreserved. June 10th is Pay What You Can Night. No latecomers are admitted.
