Metal Rabbit, in association with The Bunker Theatre, present the London transfer of critically acclaimed 2015 Edinburgh Festival sell-out Tonight with Donny Stixx.

Donny has committed an act that shocked everyone. Tabloids called him The Most Hated Boy Alive. But, despite this, Donny doesn't want forgiveness. All Donny wants is his own television show.

Written originally as the companion piece to Fringe First winning Dark Vanilla Jungle, this brutal monologue leaves us in flux between sympathy and loathing, shocked by what unfolds.

Evening Standard Award nominated director David Mercatali (Blue Heart, Cargo) and Time Out, Evening Standard and Critics' Circle Award winning writer Philip Ridley (Mercury Fur, Dark Vanilla Jungle) reunite for this tour-de-force. Powered by a Stage Award winning performance from Sean Michael Verey (Pramface, Radiant Vermin), Tonight with Donny Stixx is a compelling one man show about our celebrity-obsessed culture, the damage our parents can inflict on us and the dangers of delusion.

David Mercatali comments, The Bunker is the most exciting new venue to open in London for years. Everything about it is fresh, young and vibrant. It fits the ethos of mine and Phil's artistic partnership and we couldn't think of a more appropriate venue for the London premiere of Tonight with Donny Stixx. Donny is stripped back, raw and breathless, but also very funny. The audience goes through one hell of a ride. Can't wait to bring it back.

Like its sister-work 'Tonight with Donny Stixx' is hard to stomach: a shattering story of one vulnerable young person pushed to a violent edge... It's a tour-de-force performance filled with heart, guts, gristle and guile (Time Out).
