The rock and roll legend announced his biggest ever UK tour, Echoes of Our Times, just days after releasing his critically-acclaimed 12th studio album by the same name.

The 33-date tour, which is visiting towns and cities across England, Scotland and Wales in 2017, will call at Parr Hall onFriday 19 May, with tickets to Culture Warrington members going on sale on Thursday 22 September and non-members on Friday 23 September.

Known to millions as Shaky, the singer was the UK's biggest-selling artist of the 80s, and with 33 hit singles and four UK No.1s to his name, audiences will no doubt be in for a thrilling night as the Platinum-selling entertainer comes to Warrington.

He will be performing new tracks from Echoes of Our Times along with classic hits including This Ole House, Green Door and Oh Julie, and there'll be a few extra surprises too.

Speaking about the tour announcement Shaky said: "I can't wait to get back on the road and introduce the songs from Echoes of Our Times to people who have seen me perform in the past, and those who have not."

The tour will see the Welsh singer unveil another side to his talents as an artist, songwriter and storyteller through the new album which blends blues, roots, Americana and classic rock, and details stories from his intriguing family history.

The show is a remarkable musical tribute to Shaky's once mysterious past.

Tickets go on sale for Culture Warrington members at 9am on Thursday 22 September, and for non-members at 9am onFriday 23 September.
