Spring has nearly sprung and Pink Fringe are delighted to bring you a fresh and frisky new Programme of Queer culture to celebrate.

We kick off our biggest season ever with seminal performer Lois Weaver (Split Britches), bringing her performance persona Tammy Why Not to The Marlborough Theatre F a trailer park survivor who gave up a career in country music to become a lesbian performance artist.

For two weeks, Gary Clarke Dance Company (www.garyclarkeuk.com) will be occupying a shop in Brighton for a new theatre&movement&happening inspired by alternative living experiments of the 1970s, commune dwelling drag troupes such as Bloolips and theCockettes, and the occupy movement.

Performances will take place from Thursday 27th February-Saturday 1st March.

From Thursday 6th March 2014 we will begin marking International Women's Day (IWD with a brilliant line up of Independent Women, presented in partnership with the Centre of Sexual Dissidence at Sussex University.

The award winning Sh!t Theatre, eccentric composer Lorraine Bowen, dancing queens Figs in Wigs and gender maverick Lucy Hutson will all be joining us to navigate all things woman. On IWD itself we are teaming up with Queer Club night Traumfrau (a truly hot love affair) to bring you independent performances and emancipated dance floor at one of the best pop up venues in town.
