Nick Lloyd Webber Composes New Score for OSC's THE TEMPEST; Opens June 9

Following in the footsteps of his famous father, Nick Lloyd Webber, son of Andrew, is in the process of composing an original score for the Oxford Shakespeare Company's production of The Tempest.  The production is being developed in celebration of it's 400th anniversary, in addition to the 400th anniversary of Wadham College where the Oxford Shakespeare Company was born. The Tempest will first play Wadham College Gardens in Oxford in rep with Private Lives this summer  beginning June 9, and will follow with various open air productions in locations in London, as well.  Stops include Greenwich Royal Park and Hampton Court Palace from June 9.

No stranger to musical composition, Lloyd Webber has composed three previous scores for Oxford Shakespeare Company productions and has additionally composed for film and television.
