A brand new season of West End musicals, gripping dramas, dynamic dance and one night concerts with RICHARD FLEESHMAN, MAXWELL CAULFIELD, JOE MCELDERRY, LISA RILEY, DOREEN TIPTON, JOE LYCETT, AISLING BEA, NISH KUMAR, GEORGE McCRAE, RAYMOND FROGGATT, JUSTIN HAYWARD, THE STYLISTICS, JIMMY OSMOND, CHRIS PACKHAM and TONY CHRISTIE.

Summer 2016

Award winning jazz singer and BBC Radio 2 broadcaster Clare Teal has teamed up with the world class trumpeter, composer and arranger Guy Barker for one night only on Sunday 5 June. CLARE TEAL AND GUY BARKER - TWELVE O'CLOCK TALES features all stars of the UK jazz world in their own right, together with a hand-picked string ensemble reminiscent of the traditional Hollywood Band style on Sun 5 June.

Joining the HILARITY CHARITY GALA on Mon 6 June is Joe Lycett, Aisling Bea, Nish Kumar and returning is the incomparable Daniel Kitson and Pappys. Already on sale.

George McCrae joins the line up of SOUL LEGENDS, singing Rock Your Baby, I Can't Leave You Alone and more on Fri 3 June. Already on sale.

"Don't dream it, be it", the world's favourite rock n' roll musical THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW returns to Wolverhampton from Mon 13 - Sat 18 June. Ready to thrill you with its frothy, fun and naughty moments, this is the boldest bash of them all, so sharpen those stilettos for the rockiest ride of your life. Dudley-born Norman Pace (Hale and Pace) is the Narrator and West End star Liam Tamne (Les Miserables, Hairspray, Phantom of the Opera) plays Frank N Furter. Further casting to be announced.

Celebrate the rich history of Ireland with RHYTHM OF THE DANCE on Mon 4 July. With world champion dancers, a traditional Irish band and the handsome Young Irish Tenors.

For the first time ever, ITV's popular Sunday evening 60s police drama comes to life with HEARTBEAT ON STAGE. Staring members of the TV cast including: David Stockwell and Gina Ward, with use of video footage and a clever set, the production recreates the atmosphere of the 1960s rural Yorkshire settings in Wolverhampton between Tues 5 - Sat 9 July.

An evening with QUILL AND RAYMOND FROGGATT is a magical night not to be missed on Frid 15 July. Performing songs old and new from their current album - Brush With The Moon.

Celebrating 21 successful years on the road, FOREVER IN BLUE JEANS is a feast of entertainment with superb singers, dancers and musicians playing the best in Country music and Rock N Roll on Sat 16 July.

Already on sale is the hugely anticipated West End production of GUYS AND DOLLS from Tue 19 - Sat 23 July. The show will be the final performance at the Grand Theatre before the renovation of the front of house areas throughout the summer. In the role of Sky Masterson will be star of stage and screen Richard Fleeshman - known for his role as Craig in Coronation Street, Call the Midwife and Sam Wheat in the West End and Broadway productions of Ghost The Musical. Joining Richard is Maxwell Caulfield (Dynasty, The Colbys and Grease 2) as Nathan Detroit.

Autumn 2016

Following the summer renovation work, to celebrate the reopening, the Grand Theatre presents A SPECTACULAR GALA NIGHT AT THE GRAND, an original version of a night at the proms on Sat 10 September. The internationally acclaimed City Concert Orchestra will be led by Adrian Jackson - Chief Executive of the Grand Theatre. An evening of music for the best loves movies and musicals, hosted by Angela Rippon with soprano Elizabeth MacDonald and tenor John Hudson.

THAT'LL BE THE DAY is the nation's favourite rock and roll variety show returning to Wolverhampton on Tues 13 September. Trevor, Gary and the gang bring on back the good times with a combination of their unique feel good comedy routines mixed with back to back non-stop classic gold hits from the 1950's through to the 1970's to produce a show with a real feel good party atmosphere.

One of the UK's top tribute acts to one of the world's greatest music icons, BOWIE performs a celebration of David Bowie's hits on Thurs 15 September.

Having chalked up nearly fifty years at the peak of the music and entertainment industry, Justin Hayward's voice has been heard all over. The Moody Blue's member JUSTIN HAYWARD performs live in Wolverhampton on Sat 24 September. Already on sale.

In AN EVENING WITH JIMMY OSMOND AND HIS BAND, Jimmy celebrates his 50th year in show business with MOON RIVER & ME - his tribute to Andy Williams for one night only on Mon 26 September.

THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION is widely considered to be the number one all-time movie. Stephen King's classic story examines desperation, injustice, friendship and hope. The stage adaptation, courtesy of Bill Kenwright Ltd plays at the Grand Theatre between Tues 27 September - Sat 1 October.

Also from Bill Kenwright Ltd is the spectacular new production of one of the greatest musicals of all time, THE SOUND OF MUSIC. From Tues 4 - Sat 8 October this stunning new production stars Lucy O'Byrne (BBC's The Voice) as Maria Von Trapp.

THE WHITNEY HOUSTON SHOW features the impeccable vocal talents of Belinda Davids on Sun 16 October, featuring Whitney's classic hits such as I Will Always Love You, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, I'm Every Woman, Exhale (Shoop Shoop), Million Dollar Bill and many more.

CHRIS PACKHAM *TADPOLES NOT INCLUDED will feature the superb photography and film clips of Chris Packham on Mon 17 October. A show of zoological riches, humorous anecdotes that provoke questions about the creatures we say we love - and some we don't. It's big cats versus birds of prey versus humans and Chris tells it as it is.

The autumn season also brings a thrilling, fast-paced adaption of the classic novel, considered by Charles Dickens as "the best story I have ever written" A TALE OF TWO CITIES. From Tues 18 - Sat 22 October, the epic story of love, sacrifice and redemption, interweaving one family's intensely personal drama with the terror and chaos of the French Revolution.

Winter 2016

November kicks off with a bang with MINISTRY OF SCIENCE on Tues 8 November. Returning due to popular demand, this is the production that takes an anarchic approach to science communication whilst looking at the inventors and engineers, who have shaped and inspired the modern world we live in.

TONY CHRISTIE - THE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY TOUR celebrates the singer's illustrious career spanning 40 years on Thurs 10 November. Tony has sold over 10 million records with hits such as I Did What I Did For Maria, Is This The Way To Amarillo and Avenues and Alleyways. The 90's saw his return to chart success with Sweet September and the Jarvis Cocker penned Walk Like A Panther.

TALON - THE BEST OF THE EAGLES on Fri 11 November perform all of the greatest hits from the rock group the Eagles in a new production of their award winning 'The Best Of The Eagles'.

Opera & Ballet International presents a spectacular new interpretation of AIDA on Mon 21 November. This is the tragic story of war, jealousy and revenge at whose heart is the doomed love of the beautiful Ethiopian slave girl, Aida and the Egyptian hero, Radames.

The glamorous LADYBOYS OF BANGKOK are back with "FOREVER YOURS...X" an energetic, exotic, eclectic and completely unpredictable night on Tues 22 November. It will be a night of pure escapism releasing audiences from the humdrum of everyday life in a euphoric bubble of laughter, glamour, glitz and music.

Direct from the USA, the All The Hits Tour of THE STYLISTICS sees the iconic Philadelphia group perform on Wed 23 November.

This year's magical pantomime adventure ALADDIN is already proving popular at the box office. The first casting announcement includes The X Factor winner Joe McElderry as Aladdin, Lisa Riley as the Slave Of The Ring, Queen of the Black Country - Doreen Tipton as the Lazy Empress Of China and Ian Adams as the ultimate dame - Widow Twankey. From Sat 10 December 2016 until Sun 22 January 2017.
