Heather and Carla haven't seen each other since school. Their lives have taken very different paths - Carla lives a hand to mouth existence while Heather has a high-flying career, husband and a beautiful home. And yet, here they are in a café having tea and making awkward conversation. That is until Heather presents Carla with a bag containing a significant amount of cash and an unexpected proposition...

Hampstead is delighted to announce that Sinéad Matthews will return to the theatre to play Heather, and to welcome MyAnna Buring to play Carla in Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's disquieting new thriller which asks 'is there a limit to the cost of revenge?'

MyAnna Buring's stage work includes Twelfth Night (Northcott Exeter) and Seduced (Finborough). TV includes Filth, Any Human Heart, George Gently and Wrong Door, and film includes The Twilight Saga part 1 & 11, Kill List, Doomsday and Lesbian Vampire Killers.

Sinéad Matthews was last at Hampstead in Mike Leigh's Ecstasy which transferred to the West End. Theatre since then includes The Master and Margarita (Barbican/Tour), The Changeling (Young Vic), A Time to Reap (Royal Court) and Blurred Lines (National Theatre). TV includes Inside No 9, The Smoke and Black Mirror, and film Nanny McPhee 2, Wreckers, and Mr Turner.

Lighting design is by Joshua Carr and sound is designed by Fergus O'Hare.

Morgan Lloyd Malcolm returns to Hampstead following the critically acclaimed Belongings which transferred from Downstairs to the West End in 2011. Other recent credits include You Once Said Yes(Edinburgh/The Roundhouse), Epidemic and Platform (both Old Vic).

Tom Attenborough returns to Hampstead following his role as Associate Director to Edward Hall on the award-winning Wonderland earlier this year. His previous directing credits include Richard III (East 15), The 24 Hour Plays (Old Vic) and Abigail's Party (Theatre Royal Bath/UK Tour).

Although there are no formal press nights for Hampstead Downstairs productions, tickets are available to critics who wish to see the shows and write about them informally.
