Musical Adventures Announced at the Belgrade Theatre

Audiences across Coventry and Warwickshire are invited to take a seat at the Belgrade Theatre this June with a line up of musical shows that are not to be missed.

Recreating the talented and influential character of Frank Sinatra, Frank Cognoscenti stars in That's Life - The Sinatra Story on Weds 28 June, assuming the persona of Frank down to the finest detail through his interpretation of the classic torch songs and the swagger of the Vegas years.

Frank's 15 year dedication to his performing career has led to appearances on BBC One's - The One Show, and Good Morning Britain. As well as this, he has sung live on BBC Radio 2's Tony Blackburn's Golden Hour, and has performed at many private events for prestigious guests, one of which being Simon Cowell.

Journeying from Sinatra's early recordings, through to his biggest hits, this authentic celebration includes: I've Got You Under My Skin, Fly Me to the Moon, Come Fly with Me, My Way and New York, New York alongside captivating set piece recreations.

Taking audiences on a musical journey through the career of Johnny Cash, The Johnny Cash Roadshow visits the Belgrade Main Stage on Tues 20 June. Midlands based Clive John will be returning to his roots, adopting the persona of Cash, accompanied by a full live band. Midlands based, award-winning vocalist, Amanda Stone will be joining Clive on stage stepping in to the shoes of June Carter.

Combining a vast catalogue of unmissable songs from every one of the five decades that the Man in Black's career spanned, alongside evocative screen images, this tribute will capture the essence of a real Cash show!

Fast-forwarding to the golden era of movie music, Iconic will be showcasing simply the best movie tracks of all time on Tues 27 June. Featuring a cast of topnotch singers, dancers and musicians. Sing the night away to a combination of classics including: Purple Rain, Don't Want To Miss A Thing, Bat Out of Hell, Power of Love any many more.

For the ultimate fifties' and sixties' live music experience, Midday Variety invite audiences to celebrate with them in Those Were the Days on Fri 9 June. Audiences will enjoy an afternoon of shared laughter as singer Maggie O'Hara, alongside musical entertainers and a star variety line-up, take you back in time with a memorable music finale to close the spring variety season.

Andy Eastwood, Pete Lindup and special guest star Pete Donegan, son of the legendary 'King of Skiffle' Lonnie Donegan, are just a few names that you can expect in this stellar line-up of afternoon glee.
