Cherie Lunghi and Robert Morgan will star in a new production of Brian Friel's AFTERPLAY at Bloomsbury's Pushkin House, whatsonstage.com reports.  The one-act play will run from June 29 to July 10. The production will be directed by Philip Saville.

The play deals with a meeting between Sonya from Chekhov's UNCLE VANYA and Andrey from Chekhov's THREE SISTERS.  The characters meet in a café in 1920s Moscow, older and more disillusioned than in their respective plays, Whatsonstage reports.

Cherie Lunghi was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company in the late 1970s; her credits there include THE WINTER'S TALE, KING LEAR, and TWELFTH NIGHT.  She has also appeared on stage in UNCLE VANYA, THE HOMECOMING, and PASSION PLAY.  Lunghi's screen credits include 'Excalibur' and 'The Manageress.'

Robert Morgan's stage credits include GREAT AND SMALL, DANCE OF DEATH, THREE SISTERS, and ROMEO AND JULIET.  His screen credits include 'Nuns on the Run,' 'Crocodile Shoes,' 'Bugs,' 'Dinosaur Hunters,' and 'Relic Hunter.'

Tickets for AFTERPLAY will be £10; to purchase tickets, call 020 7269 9770.  For more information, visit www.pushkinhouse.org.
