Landor's RAGTIME - THE MUSICAL Ends Run Tonight, 10/8 

Louisa Lydell, who plays Mother, has been in numerous West?End musicals, including Love Never Dies, Mamma Mia, Fame, and as Mrs Lyons in Blood Brothers.

Rosalind James (Sarah) has just starred in Hair in Holland for Thriller Live director Gary Lloyd. She was Eponine in the recent international tour of Les Miserables and also appeared at the O2 in the Les Miserables 25th Anniversary Concert. Her West End credits include Gone With the Wind and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Kurt Kansley (Coalhouse) was understudy Simba and Banzai in The Lion King in Australia and the West End. His other musical theatre roles include Leroy in Hair, Jimmy in Grand Hotel, Rent and Show Boat, directed by Hal Prince.

The rest of the cast is: Lauren Alexandra, Craig Rhys Barlow, John Barr, Emma Beckford, Jamie Birkett , Patsy Blower, Alexander Evans , Graham Hoadly, Michaela Cartmell-Hull, Daniel Jacob, Ashleigh Jones, David McMullan, Leo Miles, Aston New, Hollie O'Donoghue, Judith Paris.

It is the turn of the twentieth century in New York. An era is exploding. A century is spinning. And the people are moving in rhythm and rhyme to the music of Ragtime. Based on the novel by E.L Doctorow, Terrence McNally's script weaves together the story of three groups in America, represented by Coalhouse Walker Jr, a Harlem musician; Mother and her family in New Rochelle; and Tateh, a Jewish immigrant who has come to America with his daughter seeking a new life. It features many historical figures, including Harry Houdini, Booker T. Washington, JP Morgan and Henry Ford.

Ragtime the Musical has a book by Terrence McNally, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and music by Stephen Flaherty. It is based on the novel Ragtime by E?L?Doctorow.

The production is directed by Landor Theatre Artistic Director Robert McWhir (Follies, I Love You Because, Closer Than Ever).

The Musical Director/Orchestrator is George Dyer. Set & Costume?design by Martin Thomas. Lighting?Design by?Howard Hudson. Choreography by Matthew?Gould.
