British comedy KISSING SID JAMES opens at the JERMYN STREET THEATRE from Monday 3 September for a limited four week run.

Fresh from a sell-out run at New York’s Brits Off Broadway season, this new production of Robert Farquhar’s comedy KISSING SID JAMES reunites Alan Drake (starring in Simon Pegg’s film, A Fantastic Fear Of Everything) and Charlotte McKinney (The Diary of Tommy Crisp) - so magnificently cast as the mismatched lovers.

When Crystal, a sexy Croupier, is invited for a weekend get-away to a British sea-side town by stationary salesman Eddie the scene is set for a rollercoaster of emotions in this ingenious two-hander. They throw caution to the wind for the promise of love, but can the mismatched lovers stop their fighting, find a shred common ground and get together?

KISSING SID JAMES sees our hapless couple perform what is possibly one of the funniest under-the-covers sex scenes in a funny and poignant play about two lonely people looking for love. Everyone can relate to a really bad date – but KISSING SID JAMES is a weekend long really bad date.
