It's another amazing month of theatre as St Helens Theatre Royal welcomes two brand new shows this June with audiences able to choose between a night of sensational live music or stunning dance.

Get ready to Walk The Line on Friday 9th June when The Johnny Cash Roadshow rolls into town for a night of Folsom Prison Blues!

The UK's number one celebration of Johnny Cash is fronted by award winning singer songwriter Clive John, who recreates with astounding accuracy and truly captures the essence of what it was like to be at a real Cash show!

The Johnny Cash Roadshow is a show not to be missed by avid fans or the casual listener and is also the only show to be endorsed by the Cash family! This year prepare for a musical adventure with the biggest production to date.

Born in 1932, Johnny Cash was an American singer/songwriter who was regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 90 million records worldwide.

Well known as a country music icon, his music also embraced rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, blues, folk and gospel. He was famous for his deep, calm baritone voice and his trademark look which earned him the nickname 'The Man in Black.'

So come on down and sing the Ring of Fire for what will be a memorable evening of Johnny Cash's many classic hits.

Somewhere In Time - An Audience With Ian Waite & Natalie Lowe is a brand new production which promises dance fans and audiences a night to remember when it comes to St Helens Theatre Royal on Saturday 10 June 2017.

Strictly's favourite couple are back with a bang after their first successful UK tour earlier this year and this new show is set to prove to be another smash-hit production filled with breath-taking routines, stunning costumes and wonderful music.

Ian and Natalie have become family favourites on the hit BBC show which is now in to its 14th season. They are best known for their high intensity performances and the pro-pairing have always pushed the boundaries of dance to bring out the very best of their celebrity partners.

Ian and Natalie have created an entire new show with specially choreographed routines of their favourite Ballroom and Latin dances, styles which the couple specialise in - Ian in Latin American and Natalie in Ballroom.

Audiences will be transported to a time of tradition and romance, and new music has also been developed to accompany the routines. The dance showcase spectacular will also feature stories, laughter, and a close-up look at the lives of Ian and Natalie.

Chantelle Nolan, Theatre Manager said: "We have got two shows of the utmost highest quality this month with The Johnny Cash Roadshow and Somewhere In Time. Tickets have been flying out for both these shows and the final ones remain, so book now not to miss out on a great evening!"
