The annual Gi60: International One-Minute Play Festival, hosted by Brooklyn College's Department of Theater and Leeds University in the United Kingdom, will celebrate its 11th year by offering 150 original plays in three international locations, including Brooklyn College, Leeds University in the U.K., and the Hagley Theatre School in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The one-minute plays will be brought to life by an ensemble cast of theater students, alumni, and professional guest artists. Each of the three locations will host 50 original plays.

From an annual submission pool of nearly 1,000 plays, this year's selection includes authors from Australia to Italy to Los Angeles to Boston. All 150 plays will be filmed and posted in early September on the Gi60 YouTube channel, and linked through the festival's blog.

Brooklyn College's performances will be held in the New Workshop Theater, accessible from the last stop of the #2 and 5 trains at Flatbush Avenue/Brooklyn College.

Admission is $15.00 regular, $12 for seniors and $10 for students with ID. All proceeds will benefit the Gi60 U.S./UK Collaboration Award, a scholarship given to theater students who embody the spirit of collaboration.
