Grease is the word at the Exeter Northcott Theatre in April.

Have you ever been to a film musical and had the uncontrollable urge to burst into song?

Ever wanted to know what it's like to be a T-bird or a Pink Lady but never quite felt cool enough to pull it off? Well, now is your chance to don those pink jackets, grease up those quiffs and let your inhibitions go for an evening where you are the stars.

The brand new sing along screening of the classic film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John brought to you by the producers of Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music. The evening begins with your host leading a vocal warm-up before they show you how to use your free fun pack. You'll even get a chance to learn how to hand jive. Then just sit back and watch Danny & Sandy and the gang, while singing and dancing along to the lyrics as shown on the screen.

It couldn't be easier... or more fun! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and full audience participation essential.

Tickets are £15.50 with £1.50 off concessions. Groups of 10 or more get an 11th ticket free. Sing-A-Long Grease is rated PG and recommended for ages 7 and up. Running time is 2 hours 40 minutes with a 30 minute interval.

Sing-a-long-a started with the Sound of Music for the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival in London in 1999 before opening at the Prince Charles Cinema in August of that year.

12 years later Singalonga Sound of Music has now appeared in 11 different countries and the company has produced sing-a-long-a versions of a whole variety of favourite films including Rocky Horror Picture Show, Annie, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Moulin Rouge, as well as live singalonga shows such as Sing-a-long-a Elvis and the highly successful live show Sing-a-long-a Abba.

The most recent show is Sing-a-long-a Grease which is being produced in the UK and Canada.
