Hailed by BBC Radio London's Robert Elms as "a great British eccentric and a brilliant performer" (but what does he know?), London cabaret legend Eve Ferret is returning to her first love in Eve Ferret - Madame Bouffant.

This new show marks the launch of a major new twice monthly West End cabaret residency for Eve Downstairs at Café Koha in St Martin's Court in the heart of Theatreland.

Eve Ferret - Madame Bouffant will open on Friday 24 April with two shows at 8.00pm and 10.00pm, then is every fortnight for the forseeabe future.

Press are invited to review Friday 24 April at 8.00pm.

Award-wining Eve Ferret (Time Out Critic's Award for Cabaret) is one of the most original performers on the London stage today, likened to all the Marx Brothers at the same time - all except the silent one! Her performances combine a rollicking (yet tender) voice with bursts of surreal humour and infectious joie de vivre, an intoxicating mix of chaos and nostalgia. And no two shows are ever the same!

Eve Ferret - Madame Bouffant will feature a life enhancing mix of Eve's own original songs and an off the wall, eclectic and unexpected choice of more familiar material. She will be supported by Roddy Matthews.

Eve Ferret graduated from the seminal Blitz nightclub in the 1980's to appearing alongside David Bowie in both his Grammy Award- winning Jazzin' for Blue Jean pop video and his movie Absolute Beginners; to starring in Hollywood movies Haunted Honeymoon with Gene Wilder; Ronald Neame's Foreign Body; co-starring with Phil Daniels and Alun Armstrong in Billy the Kid and The Green Baize Vampire; and playing opposite the

great Stanley Baxter in TV's Mr Majeika.

Eve Ferret - Madame Bouffant is produced by The Ministry of Entertainment.
