Despina said: "Every time I see a Frantic Assembly show, I leave the theatre inspired and invigorated. The company's charismatic, physical approach to theatre enriches the sector with its boldness and contemporary vision. I am thrilled to be joining Scott Graham at this moment in Frantic's history and am grateful to Lisa Maguire for handing over the company in such good health."
Frantic Assembly's Artistic Director Scott Graham said: "I'm thrilled at the prospect of working with Despina Tsatsas. She brings extensive experience in the subsidised and commercial sectors of British theatre, working with some of the UK's best practitioners and most successful productions. Frantic Assembly is entering an exciting new era and I feel Despina has exactly the right skills, energy and ethos to join the team and push this company forward. I look forward to us working together on what looks like a very vibrant future for Frantic Assembly."
