Exciting news for all film fans. BRIAN FROUD, designer of cult film LABYRINTH, will be in Islington on Sunday 27 March. He will be answering questions and signing autographs after the 11am screening of the film at Little Angel Theatre. Brian travels around the world regularly on the invitation of LABYRINTH fans to talk about the film, and we are thrilled that he is visiting Islington.

LABYRINTH is a cult classic film created by Jim Henson. 15-year-old Sarah accidentally wishes her baby half-brother, Toby, away to the Goblin King Jareth who will keep Toby if Sarah does not complete his Labyrinth in 13 hours. It features iconic turns from David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly.

LABYRINTH is part of London's first ever puppet film festival, created by Little Angel Theatre and Reel Islington and running from 25-27 March 2011. As part of the ongoing 50th birthday celebrations of Little Angel, its intimate 100 seat theatre will be transformed into a cinema for this one weekend and the films shown will appeal to adults and families ages. Other highlights include THE MUSIC OF REGRET featuring Meryl Streep on the opening night, and Roman Paska, US film director, introducing the UK premiere of his film A REHEARSAL FOR A SICILIAN TRAGEDY on the closing night.
