The Godfather of alternative comedy Alexei Sayle will appear at the Exeter Northcott Theatre in his first full-length stand-up show in 17 years following two sold-out London seasons on Saturday, 26 October at 8 p.m.

Alexei's varied career spans work as comic, novelist, actor and columnist. His television comedy career includes playing the whole Balowski family in The Young Ones and several films in The Comic Strip Presents series. Other television includes Miss Marple on ITV, Horrible Histories and Tipping the Velvet. Alexei also boasts film credits in The Thief Lord, Gorky Park and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He is also a critically acclaimed novelist, having published three novels in recent years and has a published autobiography titles Stalin Ate My Homework.
