Podium Concert Productions is thrilled to announce the final casting of the two young protagonists in the Tony Award-winning musical THE SECRET GARDEN In Concert, for three performances only January 13-15, 2017.

In the role of Mary Lennox, Sarah Caraher will embody the bratty 10-year-old orphan sent to live with her uncle and whose only pleasure in life is the garden. Sarah was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario, and began musical training and performance at a young age. She is a graduate of St. Clair College's Music Theatre Performance program in Windsor, Ontario, and Capilano University's Bachelor of Performing Arts program in Vancouver, British Columbia. Sarah will be reunited with Adam Brazier (Mary's uncle Archibald Craven) after the duo recently appeared in Theatre Calgary's world premiere musical, The Little Prince, where Adam played The Pilot and Sarah was The Prince.

Portraying Colin Craven, the 10-year-old bed-ridden fatalist and cousin to Mary, 11-year-old Lucas Kalechstein is a veteran voice and musical theatre actor (who studies with his future cast mate, Gabi Epstein). Lucas voices Fico on the animated children's show Doki, and Brody on the CG action-adventure Top Wing. A year ago, Lucas first read the original The Secret Garden novel, and the Broadway cast recording has been on repeat on his iPod ever since!

THE SECRET GARDEN is Grammy-winning composer Lucy Simon's and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Marsha Norman's ('Night Mother) reimagining of Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic children's novel about the magical properties of a secret garden.

The previously announced cast and creative team includes Director Steve Ross (Sunday in the Park with George/Talk is Free Theatre) and Musical Director/Conductor Mark Camilleri; Adam Brazier (Artistic Director Confederation Centre for the Arts, The Woman in White) as Archibald Craven and soprano Erin Fisher (ViVA Trio, Cosi fan tutte & Idomeneo/COC,) as Lily Craven; with Louise Camilleri, Gabi Epstein, Kevin Forestell, Kyle Golemba, Matthew Nethersole, Denise Oucharek, Steve Ross, Kate Suhr and Shawn Wright.
