Witness burlesque and storytelling band together for a night of slam poetry, songs and striptease. This is Lysistrata.

The last resort a woman has at her disposal is the power of her body. In a society where female voices are not heard, a band of women led by Lysistrata withhold sex until the war is over and peace is made. Instead of taking arms, this rebellious group dons their corsets, garters, and pasties in a comedic "strike-tease" that will turn the world upside-down for the men, and change life as they know it!

In 2017 - as we move into an era where people are striving to achieve respect of self-expression, through what they do (or do not) want to wear - today's feminists understand that femininity is an asset, not a weakness. Feminism and nudity should never be at odds, and we embrace that in Lysistrata.

This new adaptation by Kay Brattan is a marriage between burlesque and storytelling. Helmed by two-time Las Vegas Burlesque Hall of Fame performer St. Stella in the title role of Lysistrata.
