The Toronto company of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS will celebrate its 500th performance this Saturday, February 27 at the matinee. The Toronto company of JERSEY BOYS is playing at the Toronto Center for the Arts (5040 Yonge Street), where it opened December 14, 2008 following the JERSEY BOYS touring engagement, and is currently on sale through June 30, 2010.

JERSEY BOYS currently stars Michael Lomenda as Nick Massi, Jeff Madden as Frankie Valli, Daniel Robert Sullivan as Tommy DeVito and Quinn VanAntwerp as Bob Gaudio. The company also comprises Gabriel Antonacci, Matthew G. Brown, Matt Cassidy, Jennifer Copping, Jade Elliott, ?lodie Gillett, Bryan Hindle, Victoria Lamond, Aaron MacKenzie, Adrian Marchuk, W. Joseph Matheson, Timothy Sell, Alison Smyth, Grant Tilly and Shawn Wright.

JERSEY BOYS is the story behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. It tells the story of how four blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own sons, invented their own sound and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were 30.

Directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, JERSEY BOYS is written by Academy Award winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

The Toronto production of JERSEY BOYS is the winner of two 2009 Dora Mavor Moore Awards: Outstanding Direction of a Musical for Des McAnuff and Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Musical for Jeff Madden, as well as the Audience Choice Award.
