Ramin Karimloo has been nominated for a Dora Award for his triumphant turn in the Toronto production of LES MISERABLES presented by Mirvish Productions with Cameron Mackintosh.

Karimloo is nominated in the category for Ourstanding Male Performance in a Musical.

The Toronto production of LES MISERABLES was a commercial and critical success - playing to packed houses and earning great notices from all of the city's critics.

Karimloo is currently making his Broadway debut in the 25th Anniversary production of LES MISERABLES at the Imperial Theater and is also nominated for a Tony Award for his performance. Karimloo also recently won the Toronto Theatre Critic's Association Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical.

Tonight, Karimloo will lead the cast of LES MISERABLES in a performance of "One Day More" on the live broadcast.

Could his wins and nominations for the Toronto production be indicative of his chances of winning a Tony Award tonight?

James Monroe Iglehart is also nominated at The Tony Awards this evening for a performance seen previously in Toronto. He is currently performing on Broadway in ALADDIN as the Genie. Tonight, he will lead the cast of ALADDIN in a performance of "Friend Like Me" on the live broadcast.
