Celebrating another year of presenting Classical Works in an outdoor environment for downtown Toronto audiences, Canopy Theatre Company, in association with Hart House Theatre, is proud to present its 10th Summer Season.

The talented and exuberant group of emergent artists that form Canopy Theatre Company will take to Toronto's unique outdoor stage for the 10th year to present William Shakespeare's romantic and musical comedy, Twelfth Night from Tuesday, July 13th through Saturday, July 24th, 2010.

A tale that begins with a shipwreck and leads to disguise, Twelfth Night explores the strength of romantic love, challenges the bond of fillial love, and questions gender as it relates to identity. Love and grief, cruelty and joy are held in perfect balance in Shakespeare's hilarious comedy.

Jeremy Hutton, a regular contributor to Canopy Theatre Company, directs this summer after seeing great success at Hart House Theatre with this season's A Midsummer Night's Dream and last season's critically acclaimed King Lear.

To continue its tradition of presenting financially accessible theatre, Canopy Theatre Company is very proud to announce that ticket prices will not increase this Season. Prices will be $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors; with Tuesdays being Pay What You Can.

For the10th Season of Outdoor Theatre for Downtown Toronto, Canopy Theatre Company looks forward to continuing its record breaking growth and production success.
