Victoria Playhouse Petrolia (VPP)'s 2014 season is off to an incredible start. Due to overwhelming audience demand, and in light of the fact that two additional shows were added to the run, Church Basement Ladies (in its Canadian premiere) has set a new record for the theatre-selling out the entire run before the first preview curtain fell.

"With Church Basement Ladies, patrons are coming to the show trusting that they will be entertained, and we are privileged to have earned their confidence," said David Hogan, Co-Artistic Director of VPP.

The momentum is trending for the second show of the season-the highly anticipated Fiddler on the Loose 2. Hogan states, "We have already well surpassed ticket sales for this time last year." Theatre-goers can anticipate a season packed with laughter and song.

Upcoming at Victoria Playhouse Petrolia is Fiddler on the Loose 2 (June 10-29), Canada Sings (July 8-27), The Nerd (August 12-24), Everything Elvis (September 2-13) and Broadway Heroes (September 16-21). Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 1-800-717-7694 or by visiting www.thevpp.ca.
