Belgian Humorist Bruno Coppens Makes His Toronto Debut at TFT, 3/26-30
Nicknamed the "mad juggler of words", Belgian humourist Bruno Coppens makes his Toronto debut at the Berkeley Street Theatre March 26 to 30.
Presented by Théâtre français de Toronto, this French language lover and word contortionist will be performing in a theatre-cabaret, along with pianist-comedian Pierre Poucet, where he ruthlessly dissects the transition to the fifties. There will be English surtitles.
Described as having a dictionary in the noggin, Bruno Coppens is a European sensation. He has performed several times in the province of Quebec and in Ottawa where his shows sell out every time. TfT is thrilled to introduce him to Toronto audiences.
Mes Singeries vocales (Horsing Around 50) runs March 26 to 30, 2014. Written and performed by Bruno Coppens, directed by Éric de Staercke, with Pierre Poucet on piano. All performances play Le Théâtre français de Toronto, Berkeley Street Theatre - 26 Berkeley St., Upstairs.
