And they brought along all their Broadway-loving friends for another successful and entertaining Broadway Bears auction, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS! Broadway's cuddliest friends kick off a new year with the 11th annual 'Broadway Bears' auction this Sunday, February 17 at 7PM at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Sure to out-do last year's collection, 40 one-of-a-kind 'Broadway Bears' - each dressed in original, handmade costumes representing some of the theater's most legendary performers and/or performances - will be put up for auction. The 11th Annual Broadway Bears auction line-up, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on February 17 at 7PM, is here! Each year, 'Broadway Bears: A Costumed Teddy Bear Auction' is a much-anticipated BC/EFA event. These specially-designed bears (often using actual material from their respective Broadway productions, and autographed by the stars) raised $130,000 last year.
