The Santa Paula Theater Center will close out their 2014 season with Ken Ludwig's hilarious comedy The Game's Afoot or Holmes for the Holidays from tonight, November 14 - 21 at the Santa Paula Theater Center, 125 South 7th Street, Santa Paula, CA 93060. Performances are at 8 pm Friday and Saturday and 2:30 pm on Sundays.

Broadway star William Gillette, admired for his leading role in the play, Sherlock Holmes, must assume the persona of his beloved Holmes after inviting his fellow cast mates to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of holiday revelry. One of the guests is murdered and the festivities quickly turn dangerous. Suspense and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit by the same Tony Award winning playwright that brought us Moon Over Buffalo and Leading Ladies.

Directing this SPTC production is SPTC's Managing Director Fred Helsel with Megan Brister stage managing. Designers Mike Carnahan, Gary Richardson, and Justine Abbitt will illuminate the production with their sets, lights and costumes. Leslie Nichols is the producer and Gail Heck is the props mistress.

The extraordinary cast of The Game's Afoot or Holmes for the Holidays will be led by Goran Ivanovski as William Gillette, Rosemary Bird as Martha Gillette, Art Peters as Felix Geisel, Jill Dolan as Madge Geisel, Andrew Berg as Simon Bright, Tammy Mora as Aggie Wheeler, Sindy McKay as Inspector Goring and Peggy Steketee as Daria Chase.

The Game's Afoot will play on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 pm, and Sunday matinees at 2:30 from November 14 - December 21. Join the cast for a special Opening Night Gala on Friday, November 14th after the show. Tickets are $20 for Adults, $18 for Seniors & Students and $15 for Children may be reserved by calling the SPTC box office at 805.525.4645 or online at www.santapaulatheatercenter.org.
