The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company has room for aspiring thespians in its remaining sessions of Summer Theatre Camps for Youth ages 8-16, this coming Monday, July 9. Register online http://www.kingsmenshakespeare.org/camp/ or contact Judy at 805-493-3014.

Beginning Shakespeare - (second session) - $285 - Ages 8 - 12 – July 9 – July 20, 8 am - noon

A beginning acting course and its application to Shakespeare. The session culminates in a presentation of scenes.

Advanced Shakespeare I - $285 - Ages 8-16 - July 9 - July 20, 1 pm - 5 pm

An advanced acting course after completion of the Beginning Shakespeare session, studying Shakespearescenes, stage combat and acting techniques. The session culminates in a presentation of scenes.

Advanced Shakespeare II - $285 - Ages 8-16 - July 23 - August 3, 1 pm - 5 pm

An advanced acting course after completion of Advanced Shakespeare I session, studying Shakespeare scenes, stage combat and period dance. The session culminates in a presentation of scenes.

Musical Theatre Workshop - $285 - Ages 12 - 16 - July 23 - August 3, 8 am – noon

The study of acting, voice and dance as it applies to musical theatre. The class will perform selections from a well-known musical.

Individual two-week sessions are $285. Sign-ups for two sessions receive a reduced rate of $525, a $45 savings. Sign-ups for all three sessions receive a reduced rate of $750, a $105 savings.

The 16th season of the Kingmen Shakespeare Festival has begun with oustanding performances of Much Ado About Nothing, continuing the next two weekends, followed by Romeo and Juliet.
