Three-time American Grammy Award-winning blues musician, Keb' Mo' comes to Fred Kavli Theatre, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 8:00 pm.

While the music of Keb' Mo' (born Kevin Moore) draws heavily on the acoustic blues of Robert Johnson, his varied background imbues his music with a quality that appeals to a wide audience. An accomplished singer, guitarist and entertainer, Keb' Mo' has earned the reputation as a modern master of American roots music.

Mos' songs have been recorded by B.B. King, Buddy Guy, the Dixie Chicks, Joe Cocker and Robert Palmer, and his playing inspired leading instrument maker Gibson Brands to issue the Keb' Mo' Signature Bluesmaster acoustic guitar. His genre-blending artfulness, intuitive lyrics, unique guitar style, distinctive voice, and magnetic charisma on stage have gained him the significant honor of being called "a musician's musician."

Selling over 2 million records, Mo has performed at the White House, shared the stage with Blues and Rock legends, and played at President Obama's Inaugural Ball, all while continuing to master his skills as a guitarist, singer, writer and producer. His familiar and distinctive guitar sound can be heard in a variety of television and film projects including "Memphis Beat," "Mike and Molly," "Tin Cup," and "One Fine Day."

His most recent album, 2014's "BLUESAmericana," is up for three Grammys including best Americana album, best American roots performance (for the song "The Old Me Better," featuring the California Feetwarmers) and best engineered recording, non-classical.
