Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre
Dave Matthews Band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in early 1991 when vocalist/guitarist Dave Matthews decided to put some songs he had written on tape. Instead of simply recording himself with a guitar, he opted to bring in some instrumental help to give his musical ideas more depth. What followed is an incredible musical career spanning over twenty years and counting, numerous prestigious awards and nominations including a Grammy Award win and fourteen nominations. The band are currently working on their ninth studio record, so expect a couple of newer tracks to get an airing on this tour. They'll be surrounded by an absolutely bucket load of fan favourites, with the band promising lengthy, career-spanning setlists.

Hair in Broadway HAIR
Eight O'Clock Theatre
HAIR - the Broadway musical live on stage, is at once both a joyous celebration of youth and a poignant journey through a tumultuous 1960s America! This exuberant musical about a group of teenagers searching for truth, peace and love in a Vietnam War era America has struck a resonant chord with audiences of all ages. HAIR features a long list of chart topping hit songs, including Aquarius, Let the Sun Shine In, Good Morning, Starshine and Easy To Be Hard. The themes and struggles in HAIR, although from another era, seem vital and relevant to the times we live in today in more ways than you realize until you experience the show first hand. Hailed as "Intense, unadulterated joy" (The New York Times), "Transcendent" (USA Today) and "A celebration of life and freedom!" (Daily News), HAIR tells the story of a group of friends choosing to speak up and sing out in a celebration of love, life and freedom. 2009 Tony & Drama Desk Awards for Best Revival of a Musical Time Magazine wrote, "Today Hair seems, if anything, more daring than ever."

Patrick Stone, a contemporary painter, is hired to forge this final masterpiece - and finds himself squaring off, across the years, with van Gogh himself. The result is a compelling mystery about the obsession to create and the fine line that separates truth from myth.

God of Carnage in Broadway GOD OF CARNAGE
American Stage Theatre Company
When two 11-year-old boys have a playground fight, their parents come together for cocktails, hoping to discuss the situation civilly - to "practice the art of co-existence" rather than "slaughter each other with insurance claims." But the veneer of polite society quickly falls away, and the evening deteriorates into a laugh-out-loud train wreck of finger-pointing, tantrums, and tears. And that's before they break out the rum. The hilarious God of Carnage is the ultimate comedy of manners without manners!
