Manatee Players to Close 2013-14 Studio Series With GREATER TUNA, 4/10-27

The comedy GREATER TUNA closes out the Manatee Players' 2013-14 Studio Series in the Bradenton Kiwanis Theater at the Manatee Performing Arts Center! The show opens on April 10 and runs through the 27th.

Performances are Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $26 including facility fee for adults, $15 including facility fee for teachers and $13 including facility fee for students. All performances are at the Manatee Performing Arts Center at 502 3rd Avenue West in downtown Bradenton.

GREATER TUNA is the hilarious comedy about Texas' third smallest town, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna -- men, women, children and animals.

The comedy features the acting talents of Alex Catalano and Daniel Greene who play twenty roles. The show is being directed by Steve Dawson.
