Julie Reiber, a highly sought-after Broadway actress and singer, will be performing for Lakeland Regional Health's annual Philanthropist of the Year event on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Hollis Cancer Center in Lakeland, FL. She will be singing with students from the Harrison Center for the Visual and Performing Arts.

"It always feels good to give back, especially by performing and doing something I love," said Julie Reiber, who will be performing that evening to honor the community's philanthropic leaders.

Ms. Reiber thrilled theater audiences in Wicked, Newsies and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. She also appeared on Broadway as Brooklyn in BKLYN the Musical and Natalie/Ed in All Shook Up and had the opportunity to work alongside Harry Connick Jr. in On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Julie Reiber also portrayed Maureen in the national touring production of Rent.

Ms. Reiber's TV and film credits include FX's The Americans and most recently opposite Julianne Moore in the film Freeheld.

Having performed with symphonies across the world, most notably in the concert version of Jekyll and Hyde with the Korean Symphony in Seoul, Korea, Ms. Reiber recently released her first album, Love Travels, a fusion of Broadway, pop, folk and R&B/soul.

"We are so pleased to have Julie Reiber helping us celebrate this important event," said Tim Boynton, Associate Vice President, Lakeland Regional Health Foundation, who has Broadway ties himself.

"I met Tim during my Broadway debut performing in "BKLYN, when he was the assistant to the writer and we immediately hit it off," Ms. Reiber said. "Tim is the sweetest, kindest spirit."

Ms. Reiber lives in New York City with her husband and two young daughters.
