Carrollwood Players Theatre opens its 2016-2017 Black Box season with the hilarious horror spoof, THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN'S CASTLE, on Sunday, October 9th at 7 pm and Sunday, October 30th at 7 pm in the intimate, 50-seat, CWP Black Box Theatre at Carrollwood Players, 4333 Gunn Highway, Tampa, FL, 33618.

Just in time for Halloween, this world premiere staged reading pokes fun at the classic Hollywood monster movies of the 30s and 40s, with a wickedly funny original script by Tampa playwright Joe Pauly, who is also directing and acting in the production.

Unlike traditional play readings with a group of seated actors simply reading the script aloud, this staged reading features a set, costumes, action, lighting, sound and special effects. "Our goal is for the audience to forget the actors are carrying the script," said Producer Jim Russell.

Featuring popular local actors Mary F. Jordan, Ray Zacek, Graham Morris, Eric Misener, Joe Kirane, Sharon Nolan Cimini and a cast of thousands, THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN'S CASTLE is the perfect Live Theatre experience to ring in the Halloween season.

Tickets are only $10 and usually sell out early. Advance tickets can be obtained at https://carrollwood-players-theatre.ticketleap.com/frankenstein with no service fee.
