Following a smash-hit West End season in London, Judith Kerr's beloved The Tiger Who Came To Tea is coming to the Opera House from10 - 28 December. Tickets for the tea-guzzling tiger are on sale from 29 September.

A surprising tail of childhood wonder and friendship in the unlikeliest places, this delightful family show is packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs, belly-aching laughs and clumsy chaos.

From the team that brought you We're Going On A Bear Hunt, this mischievous musical is a stunning adaptation of the classic tale of teatime turmoil. Expect to be surprised and squealing with delight!

Based on the best-selling children's book written and illustrated by Judith Kerr, first published in 1968, The Tiger Who Came To Tea is a heart-warming story of surprise and wonder.

This Olivier Award-nominated production was adapted for the stage with songs and lyrics by David Wood OBE, undisputedly the UK's leading writer and director of plays and musicals for children. His many successes include Fantastic Mr Fox, The Gingerbread Man, BFG, The Witches, Meg and Mog, Spot and Babe the Sheep Pig.

Directed by David Wood OBE, The Tiger Who Came To Tea's other creatives include Designer Susie Caulcutt and Movement Director Emma Clayton.
