Threnody, a new Australian work written by Michael McStay is coming to The Old Fitz Theatre (129 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo), September 27th - October 8th, 2016.

Directed by Michael McStay and produced by Emma Diaz, Threnody will star Zoe Jensen, Lauren Richardson, Charlotte Devenport, Josephine Starte, Georgia Wilde and Alex Malone.

A loose morality play. A group of women weave the strange story of a girl who, for the first time in her life, ventures outside to experience the world and its cruelty. See what happens when purity is corrupted, as the odyssey of growing up turns from a dream into a nightmare.

Featuring brilliant new Australian writing, songs, sass and an outstanding all female cast Threnody promises a night at the theatre like no other!

From the creative mind that brought you 'Bright Those Claws that Mar the Flesh', McStay returns to the Late Night stage with his newest work.

Performances at 9:30pm, Sunday 7:30. Bookings: www.oldfitztheatre.com/threnody.
