Kabuku PR Launches Kabuku Fringe for Emerging Artists

Leading arts and entertainment publicity consultancy, Kabuku Public Relations (PR), has launched Kabuku Fringe, a new program designed to support the future of the industry in Australia by assisting emerging artists.

Kabuku Fringe offers reduced-cost professional publicity services and workshops catered to fringe and emerging artists who demonstrate dedication and talent in their chosen creative field.

Co-Director of Kabuku PR, Belinda Dyer said, "Budget issues continue to affect so many in the small to medium arts sector, so we see it as increasingly important to support emerging and fringe artists, who are the future of the industry."

"There are so many incredibly talented artists who are on the cusp of their professional careers but are unsure how to promote themselves, and budgets limit their ability to engage professionals to assist. The Kabuku Fringe program has been created with the aim of championing these artists as they develop their careers; to provide support with professional publicity services, and guide them on how best to promote their work."

Founding clients of Kabuku Fringe include Golden Jam Productions, whose production of Morgan Lloyd Malcom's electric thriller The Wasp premiered as part of the 2016 Sydney Fringe Festival; and artist Guy James Whitworth whose exhibition What Maketh a Man is currently showing at Glebe's The Shop Gallery until October 29th.

Established in 2010, Kabuku Public Relations works with a broad range of clients including international entertainment companies and artists, government and cultural organisations and independent artists.
