Luckiest Productions in association with Hayes Theatre Co presents Everybody Loves Lucy, the critically acclaimed portrait of Lucille Ball as performed by Elise McCann at Hayes Theatre Co for four performances only on Sunday 22 March, Thursday 26 March, Friday 27 March and Saturday 28 March

Lucille Ball was the Queen of American comedy for decades. After years paying her dues in B-movies, she won the public's hearts and reigned supreme as television's biggest star in I Love Lucy - the most popular sitcom in American history.

Brimming with Lucille Ball's irrepressible spirit, acclaimed Australian theatre star Elise McCann (Mamma Mia, South Pacific) presents a tribute to a true trail-blazer. Joined by musical director (and sometimes 'Desi') Nigel Ubrihien, this cabaret-style show is a treat for audiences young and old.

As she conquered the entertainment industry, Lucy was joined every step of the way by her real-life and on-screen husband Desi Arnaz. As the first couple of television comedy, Lucy and Desi held up a fun-house mirror to every marriage in America exaggerating and making amusing every idiosyncrasy of married life. But as Lucy's popularity and relationship with the public thrived, her relationship with Desi suffered both professionally and privately.

Her own marriage may have fallen by the wayside, but in doing so, she was credited with saving the marriages of millions of Americans. Brimming with Lucille Ball's irrepressible spirit, McCann tells the tale of this Queen of Comedy.

Featuring the hit songs Be a Clown, You're So Right For Me, Make Someone Happy, We're Having a Baby, You Don't Have To Know The Language, Give It All You Got and Lose That Long Face.

Also playing cities and regional centres across Australia through February and March; Ballarat, Belrose, Bendigo, Brisbane, Casula, Colac, Gosford, Gold Coast, Horsham, Maroondah, Melbourne, Moonee Valley and Queanbeyan. At certain regional performances the role of Lucy will be played by Francine Cain.
