Bay Cabaret to Open Its Doors August 23

Bay Cabaret is Byron Bay's first regular Cabaret club, featuring local and interstate performers, showcasing their talents in music, dance, comedy, burlesque, and musical/physical theatre.

Opening its doors on Friday 23rd August, Bay Cabaret promises to be an extravagant addition to Byron Bay's already thriving music and arts scenes. Bay Cabaret will allow all lovers of artistic performance to get together in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a fabulous meal and take in a show with other likeminded individuals.

Our Opening night, A Carousel Soiree, will feature performers: Dee Dee Lavell - soul, blues & jazz Mama, Stan Munro - legendary queen of drag, Lola the Vamp - burlesque beauty, Suzita - comedic opera singer, and Sam Angelico - vaudeville magician. The night will be hosted by burlesque cabaret chanteuse, Miss Belle Benét.

The venue for our bi-monthly club will be Club Byron (formerly Byron Bay Bowls Club), which is in the heart of Byron Bay. Club Byron also boasts a fantastic Chinese restaurant, and their fabulous menu will be part of the 'meal & show' ticket.
